Gossip Tours:
available in July and August only
Come join the Watson’s Mill Heritage Presenters every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 12pm and 2pm, as they tell you never before told stories of Manotick’s own Mill Street. Take a short 10-20 min walk with us and learn about Mill Streets heritage and about the people who lived there. All the scripts are written and performed by high school students. These tours are fun for the whole family.
Meet Elizabeth Dickinson and Ann Blyth, who will educate the ladies about the lost language of the fan. Also, Joseph Louis and William Edwards would be delighted to show the men a little about how to use a cane in self defense and children are guaranteed to enjoy the thrilling tale about Anne Currier, the ghost of Watson’s mill. These stories and many more will leave you coming back for more. So we hope to see you outside, ready to listen and laugh, because we all know there is always a little truth to gossip.
