The stunning photo shown here was taken by James Watt of Manotick and captures with beautiful detail, the colour and atmosphere of the mill at night. The shot was taken around 11 p.m. with a Nikon D70 on February of 2005... a warm winter night as it turned out. The exposure used was 1/4 sec f/5.6 and the lens was a stock 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5. For those of our readers who have had difficulty in capturing a night photograph, this must stand out as an exceptional example.
